The outline is there.

I did my best preserving as much of the jpeg background as possible, which was hard, and this was the result. The background was most blurry near the zombie itself.
I guess it also gives a nice "just jumped away a split second before you looked"-look ;p

Agreed, one of the few I like.

I like how they keep putting originality in. Just when you think nothing interesting can come out of it anymore, the anime surpirzes you. I'm over a third now :)

My normal avatar (which you can see here, for example: http://maplestrip.deviantart.com/ ) is a zombie with red zombie saved as a jpg.
Now, my zombie is a ninja, so you can only see the background!

You're not seeing the outline, you see the crappy jpeg effects the background has always had.
It was pretty hard to mimick those jpeg effects, really, this avatar was just as hard to make as my previous avatars...

Someone needs to make a pokemon mod for terraria.

Somebody has already worked on it, a whole team actually, and what I've seen of it looked really awesome and epic.

Well, you did it well.
I'd suggest you play Leaf Green/Fire Red or Ruby/Saphire sometime, though. They're pretty fun to play and downloading a Gameboy Advance emulator is really easy (the emulator is called Visual Boy Advance, if you want to download it)

Charmeleon from the anime was worse. Charizard tends to attack Ash while Charmeleon just completely ignored him like a boss :P

When ultra balls fail, use a pokeball! (It actually works quite effectively)

My shadow and Falkvir were able to get away, though I'm sure there are still enough people around for me to catch...
