Well, it's still going on. The nearby school are uniting this friday, for a "pacific"(aka boring) act against the bus company and we'll claim our rights to elect our own school directors, which we seem to have.

Anyway one thing led to another and the game markets started going down. It was becoming a passing fad, just as everyone predicted. Then Nintendo came over to the U.S. saying 'We want a piece of this pie'

Well the arcades didnt want any of their shit, they were already selling off their games to save what money they did manage to get. So a deal was made. IF they brought a game back that everyone would love and play, they would sell their product. So Nintendo came back with the NES along with Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt.

It was a HUGE hit. And because of this happening, more and more games were created, thus bringing back the Gamers Age.

From what I gathered was after Microsoft ran FASA into the ground some of the old FASA guys started a new company and made a deal with Microsoft to use the old FASA licences such as Shadowrun, Mechwarrior, ect.

But no from what I read Microsoft still owns the property there just happy to let others use it for a fee.
