"[Insert witty but encouraging statement about the progress of Terraria here]". May want to change that, or it will give people false hope.

hey Redigit, Thanks for the game and the memories. It's sad that this game won't be growing anymore, at-least officially, but it's grown vastly to be my favorite sandbox game, because it is an actual depiction of what a sandbox game should be. At some point, I hope you come back, I'll be honest, but not to build more content, but to see the things that we've built, and that we've created. Have a good one, Red.

@WeHateSand can play terraria with mods after you have finished all you are going to do with the game. i love what you, tiy, and blue constructed, and i hate to see terraria come to an end. i will not pester you about adding loads more content like you did in 1.1, just to add full modding support, and to make adding mods to terraria similar to adding addons in wow. please,
    7. WeHateSand
@WeHateSand a spot on the homescreen, which you could click, which would then open up your files, and allow you to click on the ones that had mods in them. in other words, if you would add full mod-support within the game, so that people like me, who don't know a damn thing about programming,

hello, my name is adam. i am a big fan of terraria. words cannot express what this game means to me. it introduced me to the sandbox genre, and reawakened my love for low-level graphics. i beseech you, on behalf of fans like myself. i know that you are busy with life, but it would mean a lot if, in the new "bug-fix update" you add one special feature:

Hello, Redigit!I think, that very many people are ready release updates, don't asking for money. I suggest do contest, where the group will be recruited, and this group will continue to release updates, but first, showing updated for you. This will very good!
      P.S.Google translator.....

At least give us a better reason than " Herp New Kid Derp"
Dont you work at home? Being a indie game developer and all?
I mean Terrarias fun but it still feels so empty!
A final Boss, Alternate worlds, A MODDING API!!!!!
Thats it! So close to being a truely finished game and your gonna take the money and run?
      You disappoint me...
Please tell us the name of your next game so I can avoid it?

His next game is in the planning phase and going to be a long time in planning because of his FAMILY, the Money isn't being used at all right now, But Tiy's making a awesome game called Starbound which most likely has a final boss, and has Alternate worlds and last but not least:
MODDING API! You might like it and you don't need to avoid it because Redigit has NOTHING to do with it, He left
        because of his family

Redegit, I personally think Modding API should be included with the next release. Long live Terraria!
    14. Martan
Please release the source of terraria so that the game can keep growing and people can make their own real mods! :(

GIVE US A MODDING API!!! OR LET SOMEONE ELSE DEVELOP THE GAME FROM HERE ON OUT.. DON'T BE A FUCKING NOTCH AND JUST DITCH YOUR GAME AND NOT LET SOMEONE CONTINUE MAKING IT BETTER... I bought this game because you promised so much and are now failing to deliver.. You have lost a fan and I will not give you money again because of this.. This is just wrong.

Erm, how is he being a Notch? Please explain. Regedit is leaving the game without handing it over to anyone or keeping any part in working on it.

Notch on the other hand ditched being the lead developer but he's still part of the Mojang team and someone else on the team still actively works on the game.

pretty different if you ask me.

xXISPELLZZXx, so you have to choose between making games and your family? Are you a retard?
Having a baby is no excuse to just dump the game, OK if he update it less frequently than he used to do, but he didn't have to just dump it. I cant believe I gave my money to this scammer. Stops development after only 1 year. Sickening.

Red will never be Notch. Red won't ruin his game with updates that are just too much, they will only get better.

Thank you for such a great game. I think ever one hates to see this happen so soon but we undersand why. Is there anything you could do to keep terraria alive. Maybe turn the game over to some talented modders like hero and his mod team. There doing a great mod that seem like something you would do. We all just want to keep terraria developing. :( Terraria has come to far to just be let go of.
