The usual deterrent for most folks. Learning curve the size of Everest, really difficult controls. I want to like the game though. So much. I am an outsider staring in, wishing for a way inside.

I've downloaded it at least twice before, used the "noob package" thing with the graphical tiles and everything.

I tried that, too, when I wanted to get into the game, it didn't work for me, either. The tutorial that got me in is here: http://dftutorial.wordpress.com/2-0-getting-started/ : D It's got a download for the newest version with the Mayday graphic set, too.
