Ive been playing for some hours now, and i thought i should find a demon altar (i want to craft the suspicious looking eye), so i went to the corruption, climbed down a chasm, no demon altar. I did the same with another chasm, no demon altar. Another chasm, no altar. The wiki says that they should be find in almost every chasm, but ive been down in around six of them and found no demon altar. What should i do?

Same here, I just found one a little to the left of my spawn. They are usually found in underground caves.
