Colored torches + underground = Disco Cavern! (Click image) I've made a lot of progress since the last post! There are now colored torches made from gems, special ore is now "shiny," the overall brightness was increased, and lighting is smoother. Before & after pics for regular torch lighting:

I'm not sure how much I like this. It's kind of cool, but it looks a bit ugly. Maybe tone down the color a bit, and just make it more of a tint.
Well, I thought the first version was great... not sure how it's possible but this is even better. Simply amazing!
Oooh, looks great! Me needs this, I'm running out of challenge ideas . I guess I'll be using torches much more in my buildings...
While good work, and the upping of the shiny of ore makes it less painful, the torches still seem to radiate so lowly that I see even in your picture you've had to place several torches together to illuminate a section. If this is the "final product" (yea yea, not finished and whatnot), then would it be possible to craft 3 (same type) torches into a super torch to give it more illumination?
yay! colored torches! This update is going to be twice as better than when the game came out and the other updates! Oh my god..... Is this css zombie mod? Did the admins on there toggle drugs on me again?
Thanks for flooding the screen with color and making it impossible to see if there are any new ores, lol.
