Hi all, BEFORE you start flaming, I know there is already a guide on this, I just wanted to create a video that I think will help. In the following YouTube video (best viewed in 720p & fullscreen) I show you how to create a server without Hamachi (which is a pain in the butt). Basically, all you need to do is port-forward the port "7777" on your router/modem, and open the port "7777" on your firewall. It's very simple, and only takes maybe 3-4 minutes to do. There's no commentary, deal with it. It's easy to understand anyways (Annotations are also there). Hope you enjoyed/learned! If you have any questions or concerns, whatever, post it on the video or below, I will try to help you as best I can. *In a future video I will show you how to create a dyndns.org account and use something like "terrariaserver.dyndns.org" instead of using your IP address to connect to your server.*
I'm gonna try this once I get on my computer. You can't see annotations on an iphone and they might be important. I've been trying to portforward Warcraft 3 for 3 years following all kinds of guides with no luck. I've been trying to portforward Terraria since it's release following all kinds of guides on this forum still without luck. I just hope this is gonna work
The annotations are now up. @Tommy Hopefully it works for you! I will try to help you as best I can if you're still having issues.
You can change it if you'd like, but I'd use 7777, as it is the default. And yeah, MapleStory -- @Spartyn You're welcome
I can understand being self-conscious. But scared? :d Do you mean you think you would stutter or something? And yeah, it's still good w/o voice. I hate when people put big white text over the screen, as opposed to using annotations.
Ohhhh, I understand what you mean. Like all the comments relating to "get back in the kitchen". Yeah. I'm sure if you spoke like thisss, you wouldn't get quite as much criticism.
You should know your username and password. Some people still have theirs as their default. Try one of these combo's: Username: username, admin, guest Password: 1234, admin, password, guest
