Hmmm, then creating a server can't be done for you. Unless you can figure out a way to reset the router (try googling that).

  6. Trying to get them to reduce the max size of them.

I can't understand what you're trying to say. Just try to reset the router and follow the guide.

When I enter the default gateway in my internet browser, it doesn't do anything.

o: what?? That's weird. Are you sure you're typing in the .'s and everything? Maybe your browser is blocking pop-ups(to type in the user and pass)?

Nope, it just says loading, and after a while says "this website is unavailable".

Thank you so much for this tutorial. This is the first one that actually made sense :s

Will I be able to use this port for other games as well, such as Minecraft and whatnot?

@SpinBuilder, I don't know what could be wrong :( Keep trying? Or maybe google it?
@Killers, You're welcome :) And yes, as long as you forward the correct port

    Here's my problem:
I logged into my router (Actiontec MI-424WR) just fine, went into my port forwarding settings, selected my computer as the device to do the port forwarding, I then chose the source and destination ports as 7777 for both TCP and UDP, kept the WAN connection type as "all broadband devices", set "Forward to Port" as "Same as Incoming Port", and set the schedule to "always". I enabled it. Then I logged out of my user account and logged into the admin account and set up the Inbound rules for both the TCP and UDP. However, people still can't join the games i host. I have no idea what's going on.
I originally used this as a reference, but that didn't work either (besides, my GUI looks different because the Actiontec router I have came from Verizon). Any ideas as to why this isn't working?

I honestly have no idea D: Maybe it's an anti-virus blocking the port? (I don't actually know if this is possible:p)

I Had to do the same thing for my Xbox Live and in order to create a server i have to erase the Xbox info. Is there anyway i can have both?
