    -Ḻoophole- (part 1)

    (Part 2: http://www.terrariaonline.com/threads/loophole-part-2-adventure-parkour-score.80929/)

Welcome everyone to the official release thread for Loophole: Part 1.

We've put as much possible effort into this map to make it accessible for all types of players. Casual, hardcore, achievement seekers and people who enjoy eyecandy. For everyone that is a casual gamer, we have put areas in the map that are particularly easier then most parkour type maps. Although, that isn't to say the entire map will be this easy. For the hardcore gamers, there is sections of parkour that require precise jumping and skilled gameplay.

Are you looking to be top on the charts and want to achieve everything in the map?
We've added score points hidden in chests throughout the map.
    More on this later.

Also, we've put many hours and work into making this as visually appealing as possible. Tired of playing parkour maps that are just blocks where you jump here, jump there? This map has that but with visual appeal to keep you moving forward and wanting to see the next section.

    Story -

You wake up in an unfamiliar place. It has the architecture and design of a mine shaft. You remember slightly being there but not for what reasons. As you progress forward, you reach the surface to where you once knew your town to be. The town you lived in is destroyed and covered in sand and dirt. Everything is in ruins and people have gone missing. You must figure out why these things have happened and you won't stop until you do.

    Scores/Achievements -

There is score points throughout the map (I will tell you what they are by signs in game) that you can collect and post here for top ranks. There is chests hidden and some obvious that have these in them. Here is a step by step on what to do with these -

    1. Collect them

    2. Post how many you found/got in this thread and I will list the top 3 players. (most people will get the same amount if you found them all, which is perfectly fine, but that will change in total as the series goes on (I will collect all of the series scores and add them up on the last map, which brings you to an end conclusion amount, therefore making it more difficult to find them all))

    3. Feel good about yourself that you are number 1! The person who posts the highest amount of scores achieved, will be listed first. If you all got the same amount of scores, the person that posted FIRST will be higher on the rank.

    Scoreboard -

    1. Evilchickenbitz (17)

    2. Yayz!!! (17)

    3. Jaredjuh (17)

    Conclusion -

Post your feedback in this thread also. If you notice something that seems odd or needs to be fixed, post immediately. I will fix the map based off of your posts.

There is Co-Op sections for 2 players in this map that will give an advantage towards the score rankings. I will list both of you as "one" rank on the scoreboard. Make sure to list both of your names.

    Enjoy the map.

    Totally about to play this

Well, I hope you like it.

It's quite shorter then it was intended to be, but I believe using this as an intro to an interesting storyline (at least I think it is), is suitable. Plus, we're still learning as we make these and are fully aware of things that we would like to change or do in the next part.

With that said, enjoy. Also, good luck finding some "score" points hidden around. I made some of them slightly tricky. :p

Sounds like a good idea, can't wait until I have enough time to play, later tonight

I didn't really get the part at the beginning where it was all dark and there was a bunch of levers a plates hooked up to nothing, I just pickaxed my way out, not sure if I was suppose to, but then again maybe it will turn into something later.

Wow the parkour has been epic so far, and a guide voodoo doll? Hell yeah

Just found an epically hidden soul lol.

    Souls as currency, nice

You had to pickaxe your way through? There's switches to open the blocked areas; it's basically a straight tunnel.
The stuff below it is just showing that it's a mine, not something that you can really get into.

? I spawned in the mine

I don't get it. We could place blocks, right?
  8. Stackerzgame Well-Known Member

I think the spawn is messed up, not sure though.
  9. FireMLTRS New Member

Yeah, I pretty much had to use block in order to get anywhere, so I just kept on using it for the remainder of the map.

Uhh, I'm going to go take a look at this real quick because it sounds like the spawn area is really messed up somehow.

EDIT: The spawn was messed up, somehow it shifted under the area you were supposed to spawn at. It's fixed now and I re-uploaded the file. Sorry about that guys. It will work properly now.

Just to clear things up, I did test it and you do not need to use blocks to get through the map although jumps can be sometimes extremely hard. If you dont mind, could you post some pictures of where you happened to spawn? Also post pictures of where it was impossible to cross without blocks...

    I figured it was

I found 16 by the end of the map.

    Did you have a partner?

    Well done.

Now that I think about it, it would be nice if you posted a pic about how many points you got to make sure your telling the truth (not saying you arent) but yah please do!

Checking this out now. Might I suggest one thing though? Could you rename the world file? Something simple like Loophole.wld is all you need. It makes copying it in and out of your worlds folder easier. :D

    Done.

    :p
