MEME COMPETITION

Hello everyone,

Earlier we released a trailer and we love that one or two of you may have spotted the Killer Whale stealthily swimming along! So, to kick our first competition off, we want your memes!

We've seen the meme thread and we know you're awesome - so we lay down the challenge of creating the best Whale meme. You can use any image for the meme, be it the success baby, the philosoraptor or the most interesting man in the world, as long as it's about the Whale. To enter, email your creation to tomodteam@gmail.com with your username and "Contest Entry" in the title before 15:00 (GMT +1) on 25.10.12. It must be something YOU made. If you do not receive an entry number in 24 hours, please contact us at tomodteam@gmail.com. Entries will be judged by TO, 505 Games and YOU!

So the competition is fair and impartial, this thread is locked - entries can only be submitted using the email address above. At the end of the email, a designated person from TO will record the name of the entrant and then replace it with a number, so all entries will be judged fairly and impartially. All captioned images will then be added to this thread for all to see.

After the competition has closed, we'll then ask you to vote for your favourite – the two entries with the most votes will go through to the final. 505 Games will also choose their two favourite memes to enter the final. A panel of the Terraria Online moderators will then decide on the final winner and will announce their decision on 30.10.12.

The crowned champion will win a Terraria T-shirt as well as a copy of Terraria on console on the day of release!

Hi everyone, this competition has closed - huge thanks for all your entries, they've been brilliant!

There are still a few entries to be posted here that were submitted before the competition closed at 15:00 GMT+1. They’ll appear after this post.

Once all the entries have been posted, we’ll create a voting thread for you to choose your favourite. To vote, please state the number of your favourite only. Please only use this thread to vote and not for any discussion or anything off topic. You will have until 18:00 GMT+1 on Sunday 28th October to cast your vote. As we said, it’s just one vote per person.

Any non-vote posts will be removed by Loki or Kira.

If you would prefer not to post your vote publicly and to remain private, you can also send you vote via PM. To ensure all votes are counted, please only send votes to 505 Games. Any votes to moderators will not be counted.

Hey guys. We are considering unblinding all of the entries now that we have a winner.
