Does anybody know what order NPCs will move in if you meet all the requirements?
Also, is there a way to get an NPC to move out of a house?

Merchant is (probably) the first and easiest. Just make him a house and get 50 silver coins (grind monsters at night).
Dryads come after you kill your first boss and you have a house for her.
But there's no real order to it, it all depends on what you do first.

I think it's Usually guide (he needs the first house but he does spawn before it) Then merchant then demolition Dryad first boss but not 100% sure and arms dealer if you have a gun?

Only if the walls are not made of dirt
    Anyway:
    Merchant: 50 silver coins
    Nurse: Increase maximum life
    Dryad: defeat first boss
Weapon dealer: Find your first weapon
Demo man: You must have a nurse. And use at least 10 bombs found in pots or chests

Nope. You only need 1 dynamite. No bombs, no nurses.

How long does it take for a merchant to appear? I've had a house with walls, doors, lights, benches, oven and 58 silver for 8 hours now....

If you've been waiting that long, it's either a bug or something is wrong with the room you prepared for him. Do you have two rooms/houses? The guide takes up one, so you need at least two to get other NPCs. The walls need to be made from any material other than dirt. I'm not sure what you mean by benches, but you do need a chair and a table. And I'm not sure if this is true, but someone mentioned that the floor can't be made of wooden platforms.

Ah, dirt walls. I have the back wall out of dirt. Replaced with stone and will resume waiting...
