GitHub git repository Accessory Slots+ r13Ever wanted to put that new accessory you just found into your active equipment, but you already had 5 of accessories without which you just can't live? Ever wanted to get even more bonuses from prefixes? Not anymore! This mod allows you to have up to 6 extra accessory slots (planned to make 3 of them, but Yoraiz0r *really wanted* me to make it 6 ), which work just like the vanilla ones! "Why bother putting it on Steam, if it doesn't even have achievements?!" - you ask. So, here they are. Achievements for Terraria. Better presents! Presents in terraria have been overhauled to give a 'new' feel. The present boxes are now stackable , and through a crafting recipe placable. The rewards improve procedurally based on the actions the player has done in the world , coming up to 80 different rewarding results in total! The rewards are not limited to building materials like they used to either , you can get accessories and even world-limited equipment! You can even pack your own gifts and give them to friends , they will not know what's inside until they open it up (and yes , you can wrap a wrapper present infinitely , feel free to do so if it thrills you) New Christmas-themed tiles Screenshot (Move your mouse to reveal the content) Screenshot (open) Screenshot (close) Multiple tiles that felt missing to the terraria feeling of Christmas have been added to the game , those include things such as warm rugs to fit your Adamantite forge , wreaths , stocking socks , and Christmas trees , complete with a star on top. Auroras! Screenshots (Move your mouse to reveal the content) Screenshots (open) Screenshots (close) Multiple colored northern lights appear at night whenever you are at the snow biome! This effect has been added to the game because despite having snow falling from the sky , the snow biome does not feel any special by itself. The auroras appear at every non-blood moon night at the snow biome, and the color they store varies over time! More snow! The original Christmas world generation only made a small patch of the world snowy. Given the many features of this mod that are based on snow , the generation has been decided to widen up , and it will now cover the majority of your world's center , spreading far to the east and west and corruption , but no damage will be done to your dungeon or jungle! In addition , a clean area with slippery ice will be generated into a small section of the world , equivalent in size to what the original world snow area would have! Fireworks! Screenshots (Move your mouse to reveal the content) Screenshots (open) Screenshots (close) Who doesn't love fireworks in the fine holidays of terraria? Fireworks come out of Firework Spitters , the spitters shoot the fireworks at two available modes - Two-wave and Circle-spray , and you can even customize the color of the fireworks from within the tile! Sparklers! Screenshot (Move your mouse to reveal the content) Screenshot (open) Screenshot (close) Like the fireworks , Sparklers emit quite a bit of light , these are lightable sticks , that whenever swung with gel , start sparkling all over the place , for a short period - a great tool to 'light up the party!' Shovels! Screenshots (Move your mouse to reveal the content) Screenshots (open) Screenshots (close) Shovels A new brand of tools that digs out soft tiles in an AoE , they allow for much faster pacing in the underground world and come in 3 flavors , each digging in a different radius! New accessories! Screenshots (Move your mouse to reveal the content) Screenshots (open) Screenshots (close) Several new accessories introduced in this mod include the Ice ring & Pendant , these two accessories hold a very special ability that lets their wearer use snow in order to freeze nearby liquids around them! Snowballs! Screenshot (Move your mouse to reveal the content) Screenshot (open) Screenshot (close) Snowballs for the season! the best item when attempting to start a friendly fight with your friends! Snowballs can be charged before shooting , and doing so increases their damage , range , and knockback! A new special reviving item! An exclusive item made for hardcore players , which allows a 1-time reincarnation (per item) has been added to the game as a part of a reward from a special boss. This item will revive you if its in your inventory or if someone else is around in multiplayer , they'll be able to see your ghost and use it to revive you! -if you defeat the boss added in this pack , this item will gain a small chance of being obtained by killing any mob that does not spawn from a statue. A totally new boss! Introducing.... Frostmaw! Based on an old Concept Art in courtesy of Endling This little scary critter Comes with the a new special stacking debuff , Frostbite! , which will temporarily reduce your defense by 1 for every time you're struck , beware! Note that this is a morning pre-skeletron boss , with a nightmare version that will appear if night time starts! (endgame hardmode recommended for trying nightmare mode out) How to access everything in the modpack Firework related items can be crafted using bombs and wrapping papers , bombs and torches. The merchant and Santa Claus will now sell wrapping paper and Pine trees , respectively. Present boxes and the snow globe can be crafted into placable tiles. Colored Rugs , Wreath and stocking socks can be obtained from the presents at any given time. Shovels can be crafted like regular tools , using the respective materials for iron , molten and hallowed tools. (hallowed shovel will only require the three kinds of hardmode bars , but no souls) To call Frostmaw out for a fight you will need to craft a bait out of rotten chunks , jungle spores , purification powder and webs , at a cooking pot. The Accessories and weapons available in the mod all come from Frostmaw and its nightmare version , Rosemaw. Boss HP Bar r4Are you annoyed at not being able to easily see bosses' HP in boss fights? It was all cool and useful (especially when testing out mods), but it had its problems - like not working in multiplayer. So here is the better than ever version of this awesome mod - Final Cheat Menu 2! Contains 5 modules: Item, Prefix (yaaaaay, no more bitching about Yorai not adding a prefix menu ), NPC (with the ability to spawn multiple mobs just by dragging the cursor! Also, a button for turning off enemy spawning), Buff and Misc (time control, moon phase, blood moon, hardmode, godmode, noclip and "Lighting Up!"). Each module other than the misc one contains a list of filters (including mod filters - now you can easily see which items are added by which mod!) and a search feature activated by pressing Enter. Also, each module notifies whole server about cheats used by each player. Most of the controls support the mouse scroll! Looking at the code it seems simple enough, will try it when I next play. Would be nice if you added a quest NPC though, that sold the scrolls and you had to go to to return quests. That way, you could add multiple kinds of scrolls the NPC can sell, each with different prize pools (Monster hunting ones give random related items/gear, item collecting ones give gold, boss hunting ones give rarer items/gear and gold) Also, please replace the Morph Ball sprite with this, made it just for you, an actual scroll Feel free to recolour the edge if you end up making multiple kinds of scrolls.
Well, the plan was to give the player items instead of gold, but it ended up giving hardmode items too early in the game, and I don't really want to have preset lists of items. But I guess it's unavoidable Thanks, I'll use that sprite in next update.
regarding the subject , you can attempt to limit items via 'category' , alike to the ones I settle in my cheat menu (e.g. seeing if an item has headSlot > 0 , means its a helmet) , then limit each item type to a certain stat value based on the player's own stats (e.g. limiting weapons to a maximum damage of the player's max health divided by 10 , justifies shadow axe (20dmg) at 200 hp) Then just roll an item from the possible results for the category in the stat limit. Edit : Oh also , player's defense is not a reliable stat , since it can be increased by certain buffs , and armor set bonuses , you should not use it in my opinion.
Released Quest Mod r2. Added new type of quests - gathering. Also, tweaked rewards and requirements formulas and made the rewards be either coins or bars (hardmode bars too, but only if the current world is in hardmode). Ah, and changed the sprite
Released Quest Mod r3. Added another new type of quests - boss hunt. Tweaked the difficulty and reward, again. Removed Quest Scroll item, made a proper interface for quests, press [Home] key to open it. Also, quests can now be scaled either by HP, MP and defense, or by total quests finished - configurable in tConfig settings menu. Have fun! EDIT: Added screenshots.
I found something wrong. It's big problem actually. You can just take the items from the slots that are with quest. I can take all the coins, select and cancel quest to reset all and then take another coins and items. That i think should not be happening. And if you could move interface slightly to the right it would be awesome. For low-res games it's overlaping on crafting menu. But anyway, this mod is awesome. I like it.
Released Quest Mod r4. Thanks Sapharan! Changelog: * compacted the interface a little * fixed the possibility to take reward items from the interface * hid crafting recipes when the interface is open (was annoying on low resolutions)
Released: Quest Mod r5, Health Up! r1, Never-Ending Christmas r1. Check the opening post for more information. Have fun!
Health Up's already been done (See Re-Skilled) but I think yours is better cause it's more colourblind-friendly. xD I might switch to this one, actually. I think the mana limit is more balanced, too. (I set mine to 2000 / 2000 with the other mod) Though, in one of the screenshots it looked as if one of the hearts & mana stars were rotating, wha?
#1 - Health Up also does stuff to mana , so why only health is mentioned? xD #2 - You link us to the installer , I'd rather have to download the obj personally =\ #3 - Nicely using the new tConfig methods that were added in tConfig 24 , I salute thee. (always prayed I won't need to use them xD) #4 - regarding your color merge method , XNA has Color.Lerp(Color1,Color2,float value) , lol. #5 - what's with drawstringshadowed? tConfig has a hook to overwrite the health & mana draw text too , you know.
Thanks! Yeah, I changed the animation. They are rotating a little left and right . #1 - idk, it sounds nice, "Health and Mana Up!" would suck . #2 - It's easier to upload installers, for newbies. #3 - Thanks #4 - Uhhh, I had to code that one in Java, so I mostly copy-pasted it. #5 - Ummm... "Life" and "Mana" texts are hidden when you draw your own hearts and stars. Also, I like shadowed texts, Terraria really should use them more.
Really glad to see you remake the quest mod. The original seems to have been abandoned. Edit: Just thought I would let you know crafting recipes are also visible still while in the gui of quest mod.
Released: Accessory Slots+ r1. Check the opening post for more information. Have fun! Thanks! It WILL hide recipes, as long as you download the fixed Final Cheat Menu, the old version causes the problem.
Appreciate Shockah's mods guys , poor guy was testing things for 5 hours before I started noting random stuff to help xD Also good job on the release
Oh man, these mods are spot on! I can't speak for their effectiveness because I am just now downloading them, but if they work they'll make my games much more fun. I solo when my friends aren't on, and this will make playing casually like that an interesting experience.
I really like the look of the mods however when i load them into tconfig, i get the 'input string was in the wrong format' error. Any idea what im doing wrong?
