...all the whiny babies who pee blood over hardmode being too hard have lost! Their cries; unheard by the only man who can alleviate their "suffering". They can't get what they want. They lose. We win.

This is a bittersweet victory, but a victory nonetheless.

And so, I give 'my fellow Terrarians' this:

Nothing to ruin your day like fresh idiocy. I can sometime deal with stale idiocy, but when somebody comes in and goes "how does i makes a sowrd" It can be irritating.

We will enjoy their tortured cries of frustration as they realize the folly of complaining. Or maybe they won't realize, and we'll just laugh at them harder for building more rage. Either way...

Oh yes, i can perfectly remember some threads going like this:
"*snort snort* oh my gosh *snort* , hardmode is hard."
Yes, making threads asking about hardmode or sharing useful things about hardmode is okay, but
i hate threads that only complain about hardmode.

And yes, terraria is so overly cheap at steam, which makes it totally right that the CE
is actually more expensive, mind the costs of the boxing, the printing of the poster
and so on, which all have influence on the actual price.

I'm fairly certain that at least one of the reasons of Red's departure is all the bullshit this community deals out to him.

"Hardmode's too hard, this game sucks!"
"I've had the game since day 1, I want the bunny, Red's a greedy bastard who's only in it for money!"
"I've had this game since day 1, I want everything in the CE, Red's a greedy bastard who's only in it for money!"
"We want more updates now or the game sucks and Red's lazy!"
"I'm bored, this game sucks!"
"This game's too expensive, it sucks!"
"Rip off of Minecraft, it sucks!"
"CE should be worth 12 dollars and not a cent more, Red's greedy!"

I could list all of it, but that would take up more data then what this website can handle.

The thought had crossed my mind.. but a part of me wonders whether or not he almost set himself up to fall in that regard? The man is used to having his dick sucked and being told that it tastes like nectar by this community.

Which sucks in a way, since the whiners have forced us all into misery.
The truth hurts, and all I can say is that I'm sorry Red had to deal with all that crap and that I'm surprised he didn't close Terraria earlier what with all the ungratefulness and entitlement among many members of the community.

Edit- @PC- That's true with 99% of game developers. They receive so much praise that the negativity hurts even more. Granted, some developers and publishers have a strong bullshit filter, but words can still hurt.

To be UNFAIR, If Terraria never will be updated again then, Well... It's just boring! There is nothing what so EVER to do and it's now just boring! There is no new Ore to mine. No new anything! So stupid!

I suppose we should all slit our wrists and contemplate the horrible, horrible future of humanity, as we feel a bit of solace knowing that we no longer have to be part of a world.... WITH NO MORE TERRARIA UPDATES!

Well right now I have all the "Best" equipment (Light Discs, Excalibur, Hallow Armor, Dao O Pao, Rainbow Rod, ETC) So there really isn't much more to do!

One word- Mods. Though I've never used any for Terraria, mods solve literally EVERYTHING.
Think of Minecraft. It's pretty much mod-run at the moment, and has been for a while, since Notch took years to implement basic things into the game (Shears?! REVOLUTIONARY!) whilst modders constantly reinvented the game on a weekly basis. Hell, there have been mods that have had a larger download size then the actual game! It's nuts how much better the community can run something sometimes!

That being said, Jeb's doing a much better job right now. I still hate the idea of pre-releases or "Snapshots" though.
