It's obvious with 700+ posts in two days on a game that has been "finished" for a year that there is a ton of excitement in new content. Lots of great suggestions in this thread, here's what would be on my wishlist to Santa: Filling out some of the less complete biomes: Snow biome: making this a full-fledged biome with unique monsters, unique loot, etc Desert: more monsters, more stuff Ocean: ditto Floating islands: would be awesome to see these become full-on BIG levels instead of just flying loot containers. Also: more sky battles! New biomes: think I saw a suggestion for a Space biome, that would be amazing! More food: I was disappointed after crafting my cauldron to learn I could only cook one measly food. Pets: seem like a perfect fit for this game Bringing the new console content to the PC version: I think this would be a nice gesture to the PC community that supported this game and which made a console version possible Here's what I don't want to see: More and more loot: there are bucketfuls of loot games out there and Terraria will never be as good as them at loot. What is special about Terraria is that it is not just a loot game but there's much more to it. As the game's motto puts it: "Dig, fight, explore, build!" What makes Terraria fun is gameplay, not loot, so I'd really like to see more gameplay. Of course I'm not against adding loot or items, just that I'd hope that that's not all we get. A bunch of rare and uber-rare super-collectables: again I'm not against adding some but in general, leave this to Diablo 3 and co. Obviously adding a whole whack of new biomes is a lot of work and frankly I don't really expect that. So if I could have just one thing on my list it would be a space biome. I think that would be wicked. P.S. I support paying for new content. E.g. if Redigit were to port over all the new console content to PC along with some new, unique PC-only content, call it an expansion pack (don't call it DLC )and charge accordingly, I would be very supportive.
