Something unusual, something strange

Do you read? I said they had a poll asking people what they prefer and the majority voted for longer updates, sorry you don't like that but when push comes to shove you go with the majority. As for sales you do understand that 30% of all sales go to Steam right so you take 30% of 9.99 and divide that by 200,000(or is it 500,000 I lost count) and see what number you come up with and that's no accounting for how many copies were sold at the sales price of 4.99 and when it was down to what 2.99 when Valve made that error? so yeah they didn't see THAT much from the game especially when you factor in cost of living expenses, taxes, and other costs such as paying off the composer and that second artist they use from time to time.

But why am I bothering to explain this to you it's obvious that trying to get you to understand is like trying to get your cat to do a trick, in other words pointless exercise. You going to keep finding a reason to complain that their taking too long, if that's what you want to think then fine, I really don't care either way but don't sit there and act like your entailed to anything since your really not, you bought a product as is and that's all anyone has to give you unless under some kind of contractual obligation of course.

So you think it's fine for someone to make promises, waits until you spend money and then changed those promises? Even if the majority agreed at the time?

    You conceited piece of shit.

They made a promise to the fans as a whole, not just you.
They asked the fans if they wanted something different, not just you.
The fans as a whole decided on it.
The devs listened to the fans.
As was said fairly early on, the game you paid for was the game you got at the start, everything added afterwards is just free stuff they are giving away.

When it comes to a choice between having to start a new world every week or two, and having to wait a month after reaching endgame for new content, I know which side of the debate I come down on.

This way, not only do we get a major update but we also probably get more total content released than we would have if it had come out in smaller chunks because they don't need to test every feature independently to release depth, only the entire combination, so they can spend less time overall on testing, and more time on content.

Keep on topic please, no need to argue and call each other names. If you cannot post on topic and continue to offend one another, I'll have to give you both infractions.

    the dragon not the mummy

Pretty sure the dragon (wyvern, actually :D) randomly spawns. I think the world has to be in hardcore mode for it to spawn.
  10. lonum New Member

there wyverns not dragons and yes that is cobalt armor,
and if you are wondering how i know that is because I've seen them on the game and not in pictures

  12. lonum New Member

what do you mean by that???

well you make a tower REALLY high in the sky on hardmode (and that means after defeating the wall of flesh) and wait for the wyvern to spawn.:p:eek::rolleyes::cool:;):):(:confused::D

Definition of a Wyvern (as per google): A winged two-legged dragon with a barbed tail.

Technically it's a Chinese dragon, as a Wyvern is the Medieval version, with 2 legs, wings, breathes fire, etc.

doesn't matter what the "official" definition is if you see it ingame and move ya cursor over the thing it DOES say Wyvern.

also to those who don't know it's a hostile mob and it drops souls that help you make wings for your character.
