I've had a quick little peek around google, but I can't find anyone that'll host a terraria server. If you have a server, how are you hosting?

    I run TerrariaServer.exe in Steam\steamapps\common\terraria\TerrariaServer.exe

With dyn dns I don't need to worry about my IP changing, people will still be able to connect any time. :)

Of course performance will depend on your PC, you'd be surprised how easy it is to host a reliable server.

Well my good sir, you have several options.

You could use the Dedicated Server Software (Vanilla), you could use Server software known as Tshock, or server software known as TDSM. Those are the most popular.

    -Dedicated Server Software
    -TDSM
    -TShock

The vanilla software is the easiest to use, should have come with the game, but TShock and TDSM can do far more.

Did I answer your question at all?
