hi just got a new computer and i saved the steam games folder from my last hardrive and then i just put them on this hardrive to save me downloading all the updates n stuff and i went to launch terraria and it was installing the framework and i let it do that and when it finished installing and just did nothing. SO what do i do? if i deleted the local content would it delete all my characters and worlds?
Same problem i have if i start it off steam it starts the install then does nothing, if i try to install XNA manually from the terraria folder it gives me the 2908 error. $10 wasted?
fixed it! i went to all programs clicked on the microsoft framework and went repair and i just needed to restart my pc
