The Facility 2 Rules: - You can play with up to 3 people - You must use a new character - You must get rid of your starting tools at the beginning of the map - It's VERY recommended to play on low resolution or it could spoil a lot of the map for you - It is also recommended to first play The Facility 1, not required though - This map doesn't have anything from 1.0.5 in it. I want to make another map using the new potions, but this one is strictly 1.0.4 and lower. What is The Facility 2? The Facility 2 is the 2nd adventure map of a series I started a little while back, it is a continuation of the storyline from the 1st map. Test subject #2739 escaped the first facility that was built underground, after escaping he didn't go easy on the place with all the explosives he had found. Luckily there is a backup facility ready to go for the next test subject, test subject #2740. This backup facility is all that's left. With this one being built in the sky, i would rather not fall down. Note: Everything in this map was collected and built legit so don't expect a huge amazing map made of gold with a 10 plat reward The Facility 1: http://www.terrariaonline.com/threads/the-facility-now-complete.19185/ How to get started: 1. Download the map from either of the links at the bottom of this post and save it on your computer 2. Go to the location you saved it at and extract the files from the zip you downloaded by using a program like winrar 3. Well that was fun took me around 15mins to install and finish. I think i found the hardest part to be the first initial jump. Made myself facepalm by failing it but then on the 2nd go it turns out its quite a scary jump =) 2nd person ive seen use dirt axe jumps which was cool though could easily get away with 1 block of dirt each instead of 3 but i guess having more makes it more accessible. Waiting for all the water to pour out seemed like it would take ages so instead i just used the dirt from the dirt axe jumps to scale the wall. I was probablly going to accidentally kill the stone bricks anyway so no matter. Went through the corruption without a single spawn. Then i reached the end of the jungle without a single spawn. Low resolution wins ;p Then 4 harpies arrived which followed me to the end of the map, couldn't be bothered fighting them so i ended up racing through the map after that. At the drop down puzzle I would extend the water pool 1 block to the left to prevent someone holding left from taking fall damage. Maze was interesting, only died once but i probably would've got frustrated if i died again eheh. spoilers Playing on low resolution i accidentally saw the last signs as i jumped off the edge and almost didn't get to blow up the map, since it is just off screen. end spoilers Anyway i thought it was a good map and enjoyed myself playing it, definately worth the wait =)

Just finished it. It was fun. Worst part was definitely the jungle part. Extremely annoying jumps and harpies attacking and killing me moments before I reach the door. But it was still fun. Also (Move your mouse to reveal the content) Also (open) Also (close) Last sign = LOL

Hm. I'm feeling inspired by this. I think I'm going to go ahead and make my own map or something. The dream would be a VVVVVV adventure map, but the potion can be used midair which kinda ruins everything. Anyway, great job. I'll make sure to try your first one as well.
double post, shame on me. but all of you said you pretty much got 0 spawns in the corruption, so i went ahead and tried fixing that. its still not perfect but its better than before, and i can't increase the spawn much more than this. anyway, i'll be trying to continue gradually updating the map as the day goes on. whenever i get the time too i'll go and try to fix most of the problems you guys mentioned.
So on my first retry i got 4 spawns after i had passed the bed at the end of corruption. (nonstop movement) On my second retry 1 spawned for me in total right before home stretch (tried to do it as slow as i could bare on this run). It's random but i think it works now. edit: its possible those 4 spawns spawned at different times behind me and never caught up till i stopped at end.
Whoops! I spent all of the gold on the dynamite! I think that after you spoiler:drop down into the pool at the end spoiler end you should have an office complex that you have to break into and go through a maze of "air ducts." afterward you get to drop dynamite into a room with all of the NPCs and say that they were the ones who were running the place. Wait. That doesn't work because your explosives don't hurt NPCs! ARGH!
