Stop spamming me with PMs asking me how im doing these, just look into my signature!

Here is what I can do:
    using a normal terraria world:
-write header data (spawn point, time of day, current bloodmoon and gob inv status, meteorite data etc.)
-replace blocks and walls by different kinds
    -remove blocks, walls and liquids
    -place additional blocks, walls, liquids
-make flat maps (though someone else serves this already)
-shrink worlds to a smaller rectangular area
-modify chest data, add chests, remove chests
    - modify sign and npc data similarly
    otherwise:
-theorethically write an entire world generator myself, but that takes time (and therefore an awesome idea!)
    - I CAN NOT CHANGE HOW THE TERRARIA WORLD GENERATOR WORKS.

If an Ideas Awesomeness/Workload ratio is good enough(for me), I will make it happen.

    Bring on the ideas!

    Maps made:
    Fully fledged world generators:
    Planetoids:
An entire world made up of small planets.

    .. more will come

    PVP Dungeon Arena Generator:
    Name says it all, really.

All of the following worlds are based on a normal 1.0.5 world.

Wallless map: All walls including dungeon, ebonstone, dirt and floating island ones are removed.

    StoneWorld:
Most of the world is turned into stone, all water has become lava and only a few patches of grassy dirt remain. Jungle is untouched however, the last resort of nature!

    WaterFloodWorld:
You appear on a floating swimming island, with everything around you buried inside a giant ocean.

    LavaFloodWorld:
You appear on a mineral rich floating island.. in the middle of a sea of lava, without anything else in sight.

How about making a completely natural world, but removing all walls? It would certainly save a lot of time for those of us who like to make underground adventure maps. No more wasting hours on breaking walls to replace! ;)

  3. Nighthawk

    Nighthawk Green Slime

How about making an apocalyptic world where there is no grass on the surface - only rock, and water pools become lava pools instead.

Oh, and blood moons occur more often.

There should only be small areas of growth, and you must take good care of these spots, lest they be completely annihilated and leave your world barren.

  4. Berserker66

    Berserker66 Umbrella Slime

Thats not a problem.. any world, any size or do you want something specific?
    This one is a one-liner codewise ;)

Mh .. without any areas of growth this is easily done, by overriding all dirt and grass with stone, as well as deleting all flora.
I cant change bloodmoons though, I can force the first night to be bloodmoon, but I cant change the nights thereafter. Im not sure if I actually can force the first night to be bloodmoon.. didnt try it but I know where the bloodmoon state is saved.

Well if that is what youre asking for then just tell me and its done.

A map drowned in lava, I mean lava up to floating island level.

  6. CrazyCoco

    CrazyCoco Nipple Lazers

I wish I wish, with all my heart, to play on a map in a land apart.

The whole entire surface is covered in water to floating island height, please. If you can do it, of course. And the barren world sounds awesome!

    Medium size, too.

  7. veganzombeh

    veganzombeh Green Slime

    There's already a water map.

  8. CrazyCoco

    CrazyCoco Nipple Lazers

    Is it updated for 1.5?

  9. Berserker66

    Berserker66 Umbrella Slime

Mh.. this is somewhat hard to make it playable.. an idea would be to put a lot of lava into the sky and let it fall when terraria starts. So you will need to bring that obsidian or something potion XD
and if I manage to get that done then that:
is pretty much the same thing, just one byte per tile difference ;)

[OT] A wallless medium world is currently beeing processed on one of my cpu cores, and with that Ill now grab some dinner. [/OT]

edit* damn while writing this the map was done.. well Ill check if it actually worked after dinner then.
edit2*: works, uploading 100 MB now..
Ill do the stoned map next

Could you make a water world, but replace all the surface dirt with sand? Except for the floating islands.
Oh, and could you make sure they are all at the right level so they "float" in the water?

  11. Berserker66

    Berserker66 Umbrella Slime

Well problem with the flooded worlds is that I currently have no idea where a cave is, or rather i cant distinguish it correctly.
I could replace all air to a certain height with water, but then all cave systems and air holes would be flooded too.
The other method is too spawn just a whole lot of water at the upper end of the world and let it fall down.. but I have yet to test out how terraria reacts to that.

I can move spawn points, so at least I can make you start on an island.

That said, I can make a map where you start somewhere in a cave with some wood and a couple torches in a chest.. should be a nice challenge for a starting character. If you want a map like that tell me.

Is it possible to have a map that is upside down?

  13. Berserker66

    Berserker66 Umbrella Slime

    Short answer is no.

    Long answer is:
Because of "multitile" blocks, like chests, trees, cacti, doors and more its hard to flip it. All these will break if you simply invert the world. One would need to somehow find a new spot for at least chests.

  14. dabest2500

    dabest2500 Green Slime

What about a map where the top third of the map is swapped with the bottom third of the map?

  15. Berserker66

    Berserker66 Umbrella Slime

Two of the requested maps are now in the OP
would work, but the underworld lava will seep out :p

  16. Menen

    Menen Cave Bat

That would seem REALLY cool. I mean you could invert the world but you could just keep all the furniture and stuff the same :3

Here is a suggestion. Can you make a large ocean Map that is an "Ocean biome" Through the whole world. Have a Dungeon and underground jungle too :3

    Why so?
Couldn't you just seal under it?

  19. CrazyCoco

    CrazyCoco Nipple Lazers

One more request; can you make a world that is dirt from top to bottom? It'd be great! If you can, keep the dungeon available.

If you can do this, then my adventure map creation can begin!

  20. Berserker66

    Berserker66 Umbrella Slime

Can do, can also place the spawn on an island.
Will be my first time swapping a spawn, so will take a bit.
    Yeah I can.
For that I would need to know what the game considers an ocean biome. It looks like it just says Ocean = 5%-10% of the edge of map. And I cant make the entire map an edge.. except I shrink it too like 200 blocks wide XD

In other words, replace all stone with dirt?
